Who we are
Centre for Development of Advance Computing (C- DAC) is a scientific society of Ministry of Information Technology, Govt. of India. Our initiative started in January 1996 under the brand name of Program for Advancing Computer Education (PACE). This program offers each and every person an opportunity to make the most of computing technology without having much technical background. This has been one of the first deployments, which has met with extraordinary success across all sections of India.
C-DAC GIST’s Programme for Advancing Computer Education (PACE) has been empowering students with high-quality multilingual computing training since 1996. With 250+ Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) nationwide, PACE offers 30+ specialized IT courses, producing 30,000 skilled professionals annually. Training is delivered through C-DAC’s premier centers across major cities and a vast ATC network. Governed by the Academic Council (AC) and Academic Management Committee (AMC), PACE ensures industry-aligned curriculum, hands-on learning, and quality instruction, shaping the future of IT professionals.
Providing high-quality computer education at an affordable cost with cutting-edge GIST Technology. Our hands-on courses equip students with in-depth knowledge of Computer Hardware, Networking, Animation, and Tally, preparing them for real-world applications.
To drive the widespread adoption of Indian languages in the IT ecosystem by developing a strong local infrastructure across Gujarat. Our goal is to empower urban poor youth with industry-relevant IT skills using advanced multilingual technology tools (GIST), fostering a skilled workforce and enabling sustainable self-employment opportunities.
